Wild vs. Blackhawks Game Review

The Wild came out on top this past weekend in Chicago with a huge win over the Blackhawks with a score of 5-3. It was fantastic to win in Blackhawks territory!

That's why it was surprising when the Wild had a hard loss to the Blackhawks early this week. The final score on the Monday night hockey game was 5-1. Getting goals from Patrick Sharp, Sheldon Brookbank, Nick Leddy, Patrick Kane and Brandon Saad, goalie Corey Crawford took it from there in what turned into an easy 5-1 win over the Wild.

What's up next for the Wild? The Wild play the Canadiens at the Xcel Energy Center on Friday, November 1st at 7 pm. Be there to see the Wild get back on top!

All About Minnesota Wild Josh Harding

Meet Josh Harding, a goalie for the Minnesota Wild.

Josh Harding of Regina, Saskatchewan is the Minnesota Wild’s second goalie. Harding was Minnesota’s 2002 draft pick in the 2nd round and the 38th overall. This young, talented athlete has since started to prove himself as an NHL caliber player.

Josh Harding has been committed to Minnesota since 2002, yet spent several years playing in the WHL or AHL leagues to prep him for NHL play. In his first season with the Wild in 2002, Harding saw no ice time and didn’t record any stats. In 2005, Josh Harding played for 185 minutes and had 83 saves.

With his experience increasing in the NHL, Harding promises to be a solid goalie for the Minnesota Wild in years to come after signing a multi-year contract in 2002. Harding has mentioned how much he enjoys playing for the Wild because Minnesota “feels like home”.

Josh Harding is a solid goalie for the Minnesota Wild team and fans can count on him having a good game every start he receives in the net. Buy Minnesota Wild tickets now and see if Josh Harding can achieve another shut-out win for the Minnesota Wild.

Wild vs. Kings Home Opener Recap

It was a disappointing Wild Home Opener. That's the jist of it. I've been getting so excited about this season, so hopefully the Wild will be able to pick it back up. We're a strong team, I know it, they know it. The two goal scorers were Matt Cooke and Jonas Brodin. The Wild lost to the Kings in a shoot out.

It's interesting to note that the Minnesota Wild has never lost a home opener in its first 12 seasons (11-0-1). Way to go guys.

Also, we do have to share some good news: Minnesota RW Jason Pominville signed a five-year, $28 million contract extension. We're glad to have you for five more year, Jason! You're an asset to the team. And we need that right now.

Minnesota Wild and their New Jersey's!

Our favorite professional hockey team, the our very own Minnesota Wild, have unveiled their new road jersey and we couldn't be more thrilled! I couldn't make it to the unveiling at the MN State Fair, but trust me, I cruised the internet for all the details, so I feel like I was there.

The jersey's were unveiled for the first time on September 1st at the MN State fair to a huge crowd of hockey fans. Take a peek at the picture below and make your own call on the design. I personally love them. They are very clean cut and professional.

The Wild will still use the red uniform as a home jersey, and for the first time since 2007, the home and road uniforms look similar. I'm actually hoping this can only mean the Wild will play uniformly together now when they are home and away!

What does everyone else think about the new Wild Jersey's? Leave me a comment! I love to see what my readers think!

Minnesota Wild Preseason Game Tickets - Cheap!

I was checking up on Minnesota Wild's Twitter looking for news to share with my favorite Wild fans and I realized that it is less than a month before NHL Preseason games begin! Preseason is one of the best times of the year because it just means that the NHL Season is coming up right behind it!

#IsItOctoberYet is trending on Twitter - meaning just what it says, is it October yet? Because we want some hockey!!

We know many fans don't attend preseason games. There are many reasons for this; they like to save their money and time for regular season games, they think the good players sit on the bench, the list goes on and on. However, at Ticket King you can get preseason tickets for less than $20! Ticket King is offering Preseason: Minnesota Wild vs. Columbus Blue Jackets for $19; that's a great deal and you know it! Go see a preseason Wild game for $19! Check out Ticket King's selection of Wild Tickets!

Wild Head to Training Camp

The Minnesota Wild appear to be ready to head to training camp, which opens on September 11th. Training camp is a great way to ease into the season. It seems as though the Minnesota Wild basically have their top line and first defensive pair figured out, and training camp will help the team get situated and positioned. We all know it's pretty obvious where top players like Brodin, Parise and Suter will end up, but what about the younger players and even Dany Heatley? They need to be at the top of their game to keep playing frequently for the Minnesota Wild, and they know it.

The best part of these Minnesota Wild training camp starting up is that it is closer to hockey season!!
