Still Got Hockey on my Mind in the Summer

It's hard to think about hockey with this huge heat wave, but I am! Did you know you can Ice Skate at the Minnesota State Fair? That will be such a fun thing for Minnesotan's; two classic activities for people from Minnesota. Hockey and the Minnesota State Fair what could be better.

We only hope they are able to get a Wild player or two out there to play with their fans!

Minnesota Wild Strengths and Weaknesses to Look Forward

I felt for my last blog post of the summer, I wanted to get you guys pumped up for a bunch of blogs that I have coming up for the rest of the year. I have spent the last week or so working on the strengths and weaknesses of each member of the Minnesota week. Some time during the season, I am going to start posting those strengths and weaknesses. I spent a lot of time on them, and I think they're going to be really great. So if you're really bored and you have a bad day at work, just know that you have those to look forward to.

Startribune Interview with Mike Yeo

Minnesota Wild Schedule

I read somewhere that the Minnesota Wild schedule is set to come out on July 16th. –sigh- Just sitting here in Hockey Wilderness waiting for the schedule to come out.

Hockey Wilderness has a new look

My other Minnesota Wild Blog, Hockey Wilderness, has a sweet new layout. I haven’t figured out how to use all the bells and whistles yet, but I am stoked! It looks trendier than the previous version and the folks over at SB Nation promise big things from this new site. Northwest Division is tight, Wild need wins

The Northwest Division is so tight that every win (and loss) counts. The Wild have had a rocky go at it, losing in shootouts and Monday night losing BIG TIME to the Edmonton Oilers. The Wild embarrassed themselves and their fans with the 5-2 Oilers loss. The Wild have a chance to redeem themselves tonight on their home ice at7pm. The Wild Oilers match-up should be a hot game!
