Wild Roster Different Next Season

The Minnesota Wild roster will look different this season with some big moves, signs and trades. This includes signing Minnesota native Keith Ballard, which Minnesota couldn't be more excited about. But, letting go of fan favorites like Matt Cullen and Cal Clutterbuck isn't as easy. We wish those players the best next season, even though we will miss them so much!

Matt Cooke Signed to MN Wild!

The Minnesota Wild have signed Matt Cooke to their roster, and we couldn't be more excited. Cooke was officially introduced as a member of the Wild when he signed a three-year, $7.5 million contract with the team on the opening day of free agency. We'll see how fans react to Matt Cooke as he made a living while he tormented the Minnesota Wild as he was a member of the Vancouver Canucks... Oops! Bet you wish you had been a little nicer, huh Matt? He was with the Canucks for his first nine seasons of his NHL career. Keep checking back to our website to see other Wild trades and gossip!

The MN Wild 2013-2014 Preseason Schedule

The Wild's preseason schedule has been announced and I've got the dates, opponents and times for all our Wild blog readers. The Wild will play home-and-home series against the Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets. The Wild will close out their preseason at the Calgary Flames.

Tuesday 9/17 Wild vs Blue Jackets 7 pm

Thursday 9/19 Jets at Wild 7 pm

Saturday 9/21 Wild vs Jets 7 pm

Monday 9/23 Blue Jackets vs Wild 6 pm

Wednesday 9/25 Wild vs Blues 7 pm

Following MN Wild on Instagram was My Best Idea

I'm sure I've mentioned before, I love a good social media app for my smartphone. I recently have gotten more into Instagram, the app where you can edit and post pictures.

And, what's even more fun is the fact that the Minnesota Wild has an Instagram. I recently followed them to keep updated on different activities the MN Wild have been up to.

Zach Parise and Ryan Suter with the Minnesota Wild

It has been a year since the Minnesota Wild had the largest press conference in MN Wild history. It has been awesome working with Ryan Suter and Zach Parise for the last year. The reason the Wild got so far the past season because of these great players.

Zach Parise is an alternate captain for the Minnesota Wild in the National Hockey League. He has also played for the New Jersey Devils, where he served as team captain. Zach Parise also has represented the United States at several different events. He helped Americans win a gold medal at the 2004 World Juniot Championships.

Ryan Suter is a professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL).Ryan's father, Bob, was a member of the historic gold medal-winning 1980 United States Olympic hockey team that defeated the Soviet Union in the famous "Miracle on Ice" game. Ryan's uncle Gary Suter was a long-time standout in the NHL. Ryan was alternate captain for the US team, earning a silver medal in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Two Harbors Road Shut Down for MN Wild Road Tour

Still Got Hockey on my Mind in the Summer

It's hard to think about hockey with this huge heat wave, but I am! Did you know you can Ice Skate at the Minnesota State Fair? That will be such a fun thing for Minnesotan's; two classic activities for people from Minnesota. Hockey and the Minnesota State Fair what could be better.

We only hope they are able to get a Wild player or two out there to play with their fans!
