Hottest Selling Minnesota Wild Ticket Right Now

I talked to local ticket seller Ticket King (I keep seeing Ticket King everywhere! They were big sponsors of TwinsDaily.com this year and I swear they have ads on a million metro transit buses so I thought I would reach out to them and give them a free shout out too!) about what the hottest selling Minnesota Wild ticket is  right now. Any guesses?

Minnesota Wild vs. Winnipeg Jets on December 27th

I guess I am not super surprised, it’s a Saturday night after Christmas and those Jets fans love to travel. Let’s make sure the Minnesota Wild fans get Wild tickets in their stockings this year and we fill the Xcel with WILD fans!

Minnesota Wild Fall to New York Islanders

Ugh, Wild you're killing me, you're really killing me!

Last Sunday night, Minnesota managed to BLOW A 3-0 LEAD and lose the game to the New York Islanders with a 5-4 final.  The Wild are now 5-12-1 in their last 18 games and haven’t won in regulation since December 8th. The Wild has given up 24 goals the past five games.  I'm crying. I'm seriously crying.

What's up next for the Minnesota Wild? They are playing tomorrow night (New Years Eve, fun!) against the St. Louis Blues at 5 pm. Maybe they can sneak in a win in front of a full crowd!

Up Next for the Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild are killing it on the ice and we are loving every second of it. What's up next for this all-star team, you ask?

The game is the Washington Capitals vs. Minnesota Wild at the Verizon Center - DC in Washington, DC on Thu, Nov 7 2013 at 7:00 PM.

We know many Wild fans won't be able to make the game all the way in Washington DC, but make sure to watch the Wild Capitals game!

October 3rd, 2013: MN Wild Opener

The Wild Opener is approaching quickly! And I have one thing to say about that, THANK GOSH!

Minnesota Wild tickets everywhere are flying off the shelves. It's a good thing you stopped by my blog, because I have found you a great selection of tickets. Buy your tickets today to see Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu back in action in their first FULL season together. And judging for how last season went, it's going to be another great one.

No lock out, no problem. Can't wait to sit my butt down at the Xcel Energy Center and watch some hockey.

In the home opener, the Minnesota Wild will play the Los Angeles Kings. The game is set for Thursday, October 3rd at 7:00 pm at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN.

Minnesota Wild Strengths and Weaknesses to Look Forward

I felt for my last blog post of the summer, I wanted to get you guys pumped up for a bunch of blogs that I have coming up for the rest of the year. I have spent the last week or so working on the strengths and weaknesses of each member of the Minnesota week. Some time during the season, I am going to start posting those strengths and weaknesses. I spent a lot of time on them, and I think they're going to be really great. So if you're really bored and you have a bad day at work, just know that you have those to look forward to.

Minnesota Wild Jerseys make great Holiday Gifts

Are you a Minnesota Wild Fan? Do you have Holiday Gifts to buy? Are you making a Holiday Gift wish-list... look no further, I have the perfect gift idea suggestion:
Minnesota Wild Jerseys
Anyone who even remotely resembles a MN Wild fan would love to get a Wild Jersey, trust me.. most of the people on my list are getting one. The plus side to the Jersey Gift Idea, there are LOTS of places to get Minnesota Wild Apparel. First of all, The Hockey Lodge at the Xcel Energy Center. The X is the home of the Wild so it just makes sense that it would be the home of the best Minnesota Wild Gear. Second, the Hockey Lodge at the Mall of America, closely tied to the store at the X if you are brave enough to head to Mall of America during Christmastime, there are great deals to be had. Finally, for those of you who hate the cold, snow and other holiday shoppers I would like to suggest ONLINE shopping... awesome deals, easy shipping and NO LINES! If Minnesota Wild Apparel doesn't do it for you my other gift suggestion...

Wild Players Analysis

I want to add a list of Minnesota Wild players that I think did well and a list of players that did not play to potential when I saw them last Tuesday night and no, I wasn’t too drunk off the green beer (which I couldn’t find at the Xcel anyway!) to read the jersey numbers to be sure I got my ‘facts’ straight:

Players that ROCKED:

Stephane Veilleux (always hustling! Got credit for the second period goal although I am certain he didn’t touch it – it was all Skoula – hard to believe, I know)

Andrew Brunette (tons of shots on goal, great passing and setting up plays)

Mikko Koivu (more than once I saw him talking to the guys before a face-off setting up plays and just rallying the players, great leadership and his sweet backhand in the shootout rocked)

Players that SUCKED:

James Sheppard (he was sloooooow and majorly out of position on several plays, I still can’t believe Jacques let him out on the ice so many times, Jimmy may need a hockey 101 brush-up)

Kurtis Foster (wasn’t as solid as I remembered him to be, I hope he gets better with each game)

Pierre Marc-Bouchard (although he did have couple of shots on goal, they weren’t very good ones and his passes were pathetic, plus he let a puck slip right by him during crunch time, this is the NHL, that can’t be tolerated)

BIG WILD GAME ON SUNDAY! Wild vs. Oilers. It must be a hot ticket too because local broker like Ticket King St Paul hardly has any Minnesota Wild tickets for sale!

Wild Win Big over Ducks

Good game last night. No, Great game last night. Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom shut-out the Anaheim Mighty (or not so mighty) Ducks 3-0 in front of another sold out crowd at the Xcel Energy Center. The win puts the Wild 7th in the Western Conference, but just two points out of 5th and within reach of the division leader Calgary Flames.

Niklas Backstrom said: "We're getting better every night, and that's the way it should be: The more games we play, the better we should be, but we can't be too satisfied. You look at the standings; they're probably going to be completely different tomorrow."

There are 30 games to the playoffs, but the Wild are just taking it one game at a time. Next up? Let’s hope for a repeat of last night’s performance when the Wild host the Nashville Predators on Friday night. There are still tickets available from hockey ticket brokers like Hockey Tickets Minnesota. Wild ticket prices have been pretty low after the Wild had a disappointing December, but as the team starts to build steam, you can bet those Minnesota Wild ticket prices will go up as well. Go Wild!

Minnesota Wild Score Big and Win

Loss, Loss, Win – that’s how the Minnesota Wild home stand has been going. The biggest difference between the first two games and the third, besides the obvious? Minnesota Wild offense production.

It seems to this MN Wild Freak that when the Wild score 3 or more goals, they win. We have the defense to shut down the other teams or at least keep the opponents below 3 goals, now we need the offense to score so we can actually win. Youngster Cal Clutterbuck showed how it’s done on Monday when he scored 3 goals against the Capitals, let’s hope the Wild can keep the scoring momentum.

There are still two more games to go sandwiched around Thanksgiving. I am going to try and get out to tonight’s game – If you need tickets, I found a new Minnesota Wild tickets site that looks pretty reasonable and it is run by local folks so I like that. It’s called Hockey Tickets Minnesota.

2008-2009 Minnesota Wild Roster

I am embarrassed to admit it but I can't remember a past year when I had lower expectations than I have this year for the Minnesota Wild. The lack of "big splash" free agent signings as well as the loss of excellent contributors like Rolston and Demitra has me longing for the years when I expected the Minnesota Wild to win and go to the NHL Playoffs. However, let's face it, the Minnesota Wild hasn't exactly prospered in the playoffs since their improbable run to the Western Conference Finals during the 2002-2003 season. Every year after that run, I had extremely high expectations to only be let down by my favorite NHL team. I just hope that this year the exact opposite happens where I expect very little but the Minnesota Wild thrives and brings home their first Stanley Cup!

I am definitely going to grab a few Minnesota Wild Tickets for the Home Opener versus the Boston Bruins in order to see if the impressive preseason record is for real. GO WILD!!!

Boston Bruins vs. Minnesota Wild

This year, I have the unique opportunity to see one of the all-time great players for my favorite WCHA hockey team play versus my favorite NHL hockey team. Phil Kessel (formerly of the Minnesota Gophers) and the Boston Bruins come to the XCEL Energy Center to take on the Minnesota Wild on October 11th. The only thing that makes this even better is that it is the "Home Opener" for the Wild. I have already started hitting up my buddies for their Minnesota Wild Tickets to this game. I am going to have a hard time cheering against a former Gophers Hockey Player but I am going to have to do it. GO MINNESOTA WILD!!!

Violent Minnesota Wild Game

The on ice action between the Avalanche and the Wild wasn't the only place at the Xcel Energy Center where it was violent and dangerous. I almost lost my life twice during the Wild game on Friday! I sat 6 rows up by the penalty boxes and was almost impailed twice during the game by flying objects. In the first period, a puck missed my head by less than 2 feet and drilled a lady sitting next to me. Then, in the second period, a stick flew into the crowd and landed one row behind me.

The next time that my buddy offers to give me his Minnesota Wild Tickets, I am going to have to remember to wear a helmet and shield. If you plan on going to the Minnesota Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday, keep your head up because it is Playoff Hockey. GO WILD!!!

Minnesota’s Golden Boy Scores in All Star Game

It was nice to see the Wilds own Marian Gaborik representing Minnesota Wild hockey well at this years All Star game in Atlanta. Gaborik scored a goal in the third period and for awhile it almost looked like it would be the game winner. The West ended up losing 7-8 and the third period was about the only period worth watching as far as hard hitting close action is concerned. Last year, Brian Rolston represented the Minnesota Wild and scored two goals at the All Star Game so Gaborik had big shoes to fill.

Let’s hope the Wild can return from their All Star Break with the same fervor as they went in with. There are Minnesota Wild tickets from local ticket brokers available. Let’s go Wild!

Minnesota Wild versus Anaheim Ducks

I was never as fired up for a Wild regular season hockey game as I was for last night’s game versus the HATED Anaheim Ducks. I marked it on my Wild Schedule months ago as a “must see” game because I viewed it as a retribution game for the Minnesota Wild. It was an extremely big game that was full of sub-plots:

1. It was the first time the Ducks played at the Xcel Energy Center since last year’s playoffs.
2. The Minnesota Wild had already beaten the Anaheim Ducks twice this year in Anaheim.
3. Derek Boogard came of the IR just in time to suit up for the Wild.
4. In Minnesota, Todd Bertuzzi is the most hated NHL player.
5. The two NHL franchises have a general dislike for each other.

All of the sub-plots as well as my overall hatred for the Anaheim Ducks forced me to shell out big buck$ for some Wild Tickets and head down to the Xcel Energy Center for the much anticipated game.

Unfortunately, almost everything in the game that could go wrong went wrong. The Anaheim Ducks won the game 4-2. There wasn’t any retribution dished out by Derek Boogard for Brad May’s “sucker punch” on Kim Johanson in the Playoffs last year and Todd Bertuzzi had two goals and an assist.

The game was an utter disappointment! I wonder if I can get a refund on the Minnesota Wild Tickets I bought. The only positive I can come up with right now is that the same two teams face of at the Xcel energy Center January 30th. GO WILD!!!!

Minnesota Wild Sellout Streak

There probably wont be any added fanfare surrounding the Minnesota Wild reaching its 300Th consecutive sellout this Wednesday but it is an impressive streak that is hard to duplicate in any sport. This streak is the longest active sellout streak in the NHL and it has no chance of stopping unless something drastic takes place. It can be attributed to the rabid fan support for Minnesota Wild Hockey in the Twin Cities as well as the exceptional product both on and off the ice that the Wild organization has produced. I as a HUGE Minnesota Wild fan congratulate both the organization and the Minnesota fans who have purchase all of those Wild Tickets to make the streak possible. GO WILD!!!

Only two Wild home games left this year

Get it? This year…2007. There are only two Minnesota Wild games left in 2007. First up are the Edmonton Oilers at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday December 29th and then to close out 2007, the San Jose Sharks are in St Paul on December 31st. The 5pm puck drop on the 31st gives Minnesota Wild fans plenty of time to ring in the new year right…a hockey game and an after party! Let’s go Wild! Need Minnesota Wild tickets? Check out local brokers like Ticket King. They have an office less than a block down from the Xcel Energy Center and have reasonable Wild ticket prices. Go Wild!

I miss the Xcel Energy Center

Here is a picture of my favorite beer guy at the Xcel Energy Center. I can't wait to get back to the Xcel and order a beer from my buddy. I am planning on going to at least one of the games during the Wilds upcoming three game home stand vs. the Nashville Predators, New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings. There are still good tickets left from local ticket brokers like Ticket King, you pay more, but when you live in the state of hockey either you stand in line for days before the single game on-sale or you buy from wild ticket brokers.

Wild get shut out in Detroit

Watching the Minnesota Wild play the Detroit Red Wings was a huge disappointment. The Red Wings thumped the Wild with a shutout on Friday night at Detroit. The Red Wings showed why they are the elite team in the NHL and the Minnesota Wild is not.

There are times when I wished Detroit and Minnesota were in the same conference for geographic travel benefits and just good old fashioned hockey rivalry traditions, but this year I am thankful we don’t play them eight times because those could be the ugliest eight games of the year…instead it’s only four times. The Wild will get a chance at revenge on their home Xcel Energy Center ice on December 22nd. Buy your Wild Red Wings tickets today as this is sure to be a super hot match-up.
