Minnesota Wild Sign Minnesota Native Matt Cullen

The Minnesota Wild agreed to a 3 year, $10.5 million dollar deal with Matt Cullen. Cullen is from Virginia, Minnesota and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1995. He has played for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, New York Rangers, and Ottawa Senators. He won the Stanley Cup in 2006 with the Carolina Hurricanes. He played college hockey at St. Cloud State and amassed 86 points in 2 seasons there. He is 33 and plays the center position.
